At CARSANS, delivering the highest quality of patient care is our top priority. We understand how life-changing medical conditions can be for patients and their families.
Medicine is constantly changing, but our compassionate, superior patient care is constant. Our physicians, nurses, technologists and administrative support team share the common goal of providing professional care, customised to the needs of each patient.
Our team of doctors offer comprehensive consultation services for private outpatients, general medical inpatients and post-operative inpatients with a wide range of conditions relating to Neurology, Ageing, Geriatrics, Stroke and General Medicine.
We look forward to assisting you with your health needs.
Appointments
Referrals are required for all patients, and once received, are assessed by our triage team to determine the clinical urgency.
After the triage process has been completed, our reception team will contact you to offer an appointment.
Please understand that our specialist practitioners service a large geographical area with a significant population and are always very heavily booked, so wait times for non-clinically urgent appointments may be lengthy.
Payment options
A quote will be provided to you prior to any appointment and consultation fees vary depending on a number of factors such as the practitioner, complexity and length of your appointment, and whether additional testing is required.
CARSANS is not a bulk-billing medical practice and account settlement must be completed at the conclusion of each appointment, unless specific exceptions have been pre-arranged (e.g. WorkCover and inpatient health fund billing).
We accept payments via EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa and cash.
Referrals
Referrals and associated documents can be sent to us via Medical Objects or be faxed to (07) 4688 6088.
Our reception team will contact the patient to offer a timely appointment, after the clinical urgency has been established by our triage team.
