Dr. Ehsan Shandiz is an enthusiastic runner and mountaineer and is well known in the area due to his service at Toowoomba Hospital.
He completed his training as a general neurologist at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2011 and subsequently commenced practice as a general neurologist in Southern Iran. In late 2017, he emigrated to Australia and completed a two-year stroke fellowship at the Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney and Canberra Hospital before relocating to Toowoomba.
Dr. Shandiz has a particular interest in neurophysiology, nerve conduction studies and electromyography and is currently accepting referrals for the following services for adult neurology patients:
- Nerve conduction studies and electromyography
- Botox injections for migraine and dystonia
Dr. Shandiz is able to administer Botulinum toxin (such as Botox) for the treatment of the conditions such as:
